Why these measures

Longevity, fitness, and performance can get significantly complicated and expensive. Sentier Club has boiled down these concepts to three highest-value, routinely measurable health markers. These diagnostics, technology, and cutting-edge training protocols were typically reserved for billionaires, professional athletes, and celebrities.

You don't have to be rich, athletic, or famous to work with us. In fact, the vast majority of our clients are just looking for the most efficient way to look, feel, and perform better.

3D body composition scanning at the studio
Body composition

Body composition

A 3D scan maps muscle, fat and their distribution across your body, with a precision no bathroom scale or wearable can reach.

Weight alone tells you almost nothing. Two people at the same weight can have entirely different metabolic risk, depending on how much muscle they carry and where fat is stored. This is the measure that makes real change visible, and it is sensitive enough to show progress long before the mirror does.

What you learn

  • Your muscle and fat mass distribution and sufficiency
  • What weight and BMI hide
  • A baseline precise enough to track quarter by quarter
Strength assessment equipment
Strength assessment

Strength

Strength, measured as force: a validated assessment of what your body can actually produce, benchmarked and repeatable.

Strength is one of the most reliable markers of healthy ageing. It predicts independence, resilience and injury risk far better than how often you train. Testing it properly also exposes imbalances between sides and movements, the kind that quietly become injuries.

What you learn

  • Your true force output, benchmarked
  • Imbalances worth correcting now
  • A number you can train against and beat

Cardiorespiratory testing

Cardiorespiratory capacity

Your VO2 max, measured with our performance partner.

VO2 max is among the strongest single predictors of all-cause longevity. Higher capacity is associated with substantially lower risk across cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke and cognitive decline. Most people have never had it measured, and the estimates produced by wearables are frequently far from accurate.

What you learn

  • A leading indicator of your long-term health
  • A target to train toward, not a guess
  • A number that moves, and quickly, when training is right

Accuracy

Your assessment is conducted with the same class of equipment used by professional teams, elite military units and universities. Our tests are validated, repeatable, and considerably more accurate than the predicted data produced by consumer wearables, where we frequently observe wildly inaccurate results.

The protocol itself is designed by the scientific committee at NYC Performance Lab, composed of sport scientists and nutritionists, and is updated as the science advances.

How a visit works

01

The Assessment

90–120 minutes

An analyst runs your body composition, strength and VO₂ max measurements using next-generation technology.

02

The Consultation

within 48 hours

Your analyst walks you through what each number means and translates it into a concrete plan for training, nutrition and recovery.

03

Track

every quarter

Support with the application, and up to 3 body composition scans per year. This is where insight becomes habit, and habit becomes results.

What you leave with

  • 01

Your biometric profile: Body composition, strength, and cardiovascular fitness.

  • 02

Your personalised plan: Fitness and nutrition built from your own results.

  • 03

Your performance baseline: A benchmark to track measurable progress over time.
